WCU is incorporated in Republic of Panama. Nationally, WCU took birth in Australia with the name West Coast Institute of Management & Technology which later was evolved into an International University in Panama with same brand name of "West Coast".

With its expert management council, WCU provides higher education in different countries through its global affiliates and study centres.

West Coast University (WCU) Panama has been granted a Parliamentary Decree that bears full validity and recognition

West Coast University is a member of the Universidad Consortium, representing bona fide, recognized and accredited higher education entities, licensed by the Ministries of Education

WCU credits may be used for partial fulfillment of earning the degree from Southwest State University (Formerly Kursk State Technical University), the only technical University of Russia which is a member of the National Committee of Economic Cooperation with the countries of Latin America.

California University FCE certifies the credits earned at WCU to be equivalent to any other nationally and regionally accredited colleges and universities of United States of America.

WCU establishes partnerships with International University - Panama and San Juan La De Cruz University - Costa Rica. Students of WCU can opt for dual degrees from these universities.

Validation of Degrees and Credits earned at WCU - Panama

	ICS has confirmed that credits earned from WCU can be considered for full transfer toward the degrees of the Southwest State University (Formerly Kursk State Technical University) of Russia subject to the final completion of a project paper demonstrating high level of academic knowledge. Southwest State University is the only technical University of Russia which is a member of the National Committee of Economic Cooperation with the countries of Latin America. 	California University Foreign Credential Evaluator (CUFCE) certifies the credits earned at WCU to be equivalent to any other nationally and regionally accredited colleges and universities of United States of America.
